These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) form a legally binding agreement between you (“the client”, “you”) and RM Telecom (“we”, “our”). By using our website, products, or services, you agree to these Terms.
1. Services Provided
We offer IT services, server installations, networking, web development, IoT systems, automation, consulting, and related technical work. All services are subject to availability and professional discretion.
2. Quotes & Payments
- Quotes are estimates only unless stated otherwise.
- Prices may change based on time, materials, or unforeseen requirements.
- Invoices must be paid by the due date listed.
- Late payments may incur fees or service suspension.
3. Client Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Provide accurate information for service delivery
- Ensure safe working environments
- Provide necessary access to systems and equipment
- Maintain backups of critical data prior to service work
4. Intellectual Property
We retain ownership of all software, code, documentation, IoT firmware, and materials created unless a separate written agreement transfers ownership.
You are granted a licence to use deliverables for their intended purpose only.
5. IoT Devices & Automation
You understand that IoT devices may depend on internet connectivity, third-party platforms, and electrical infrastructure. We are not responsible for outages, disruptions, or limitations caused by external systems.
6. Website & Software Development
- All work is provided "as-is" unless a maintenance plan is agreed upon.
- We are not responsible for third-party plugins, hosting services, or software failures.
- Security, backups, and updates are the client’s responsibility unless contracted separately.
7. Warranties & Liability
To the fullest extent permitted under Australian law:
- All services are provided with reasonable care and skill.
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
- We are not responsible for data loss, downtime, or hardware issues unless proven negligent.
8. Third-Party Services
We may use third-party software, cloud services, or components. Their reliability, updates, or policy changes are outside our control.
9. Cancellations
- Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before scheduled work.
- Fees may apply for late cancellations or on-site visits already in progress.
10. Privacy
Your use of our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia and the State or Territory where services are provided.
12. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revision date.
